Mexico Man Injured In St. Louis-Area Crash
A Friday night accident in St. Charles County injures a Mexico man and two Lincoln County women.
The accident happened at 8:30 on northbound Highway 61 south of Route A when a vehicle slowed for an unknown reason and was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by 69-year-old Dorthy M. Looney of Silex.
Looney’s passengers, 65-year-old Frances A. Looney of Troy and 64-year-old Patrick E. Brundege of Mexico had minor and moderate injuries respectively.
Driver Looney also had moderate injuries.
All three were taken to a Lake St. Louis hospital for treatment.
The driver of the vehicle who slowed down was not injured according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.
