Man Found Guilty In Audrain & Boone County Fraud Cases
Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey is announcing the conviction of a Holts Summit man for committing fraud in Audrain and Boone counties.
Blake Mahoney was found guilty of Financial Exploitation of the Elderly and Deceptive Business Practices.
Mahoney defrauded eleven consumers by demanding money upfront for home construction and renovation work, and then failing to do the promised work.
Mahoney was sentenced to seven years in prison and ordered to repay consumers $83,000 for the fraud.
