MHS Academic Team Earns Conference Title
The Mexico High School Academic team makes history by winning their first NCMC Conference Quiz Bowl title.
The team picked up dominating wins over Moberly, host Kirksville, Hannibal, and Fulton to win the title.
Mexico’s win was spearheaded by Jamison Jeffries, Christian Frederickson, and Camden Williams who were all in the top 10 tournament scorers, earning them All Conference honors.
Other team members include Declan Gleeson, Liam Hoyle, Dylan Reid, Carter Blackburn, Jude Yancey, Meredith Harter, and Alexia Femrite.
Next up for the nationally-ranked MHS Academic Team is the 7th Annual Bulldog Regional Interscholastic Competition March 18th at Mexico Middle School.
MHS is also hosting the District Tournament on April 15th.
