Three Area FFA Chapters Are Grant Recipients

Three area FFA Chapters are receiving grant money.

The grants are from the Missouri FFA Foundation and are Learning by Doing Grants to support ag education.

Mexico, Montgomery County R-II and Silex will all be receiving the grants courtesy of donations to the Missouri FFA Foundation from Google, Growing America’s Farmers, and the Rural King Foundation.

Mexico will use their funds to expand the Agriculture Department and courses offered to students as well as new technology.
