Mexico High School Student Council Wins Award

The Mexico High School Student Council is now an award winner.

They picked up the Missouri Association of Student Council Gold Award at the organization’s annual convention recently in Jefferson City.

The criteria for the award includes having a comprehensive program in promoting student activities and student leadership, including school service, spirit, community service, student and teacher recognition, and leadership training activities.

Mexico High School Assistant Principal and Activities Director Brandon Schafer was also recognized at the convention for being the association’s Northeast Principal of the Year.
