Counterfeit Bills Circulating In Mexico
Mexico Public Safety is making people aware of a scam in the Mexico area.
The department has received several reports of counterfeit one hundred dollar bills that pass the security marker check, but are obviously printed on plain paper.
The counterfeiters have tried to make the bills look aged by crumpling them and adding burn holes and other wear marks to them.
Businesses and the public are encouraged to be aware and vigilant about the bills.
