Fulton Police Investigating Fatal Traffic Crash

One person is dead and four injured after a Friday afternoon crash in Fulton.

According to Fulton Police, the accident happened at 3:35 Friday afternoon at Westminster and Jefferson City Road and involved a Fulton Public Schools bus.

A Nissan 350Z traveling north on Westminster slid into the path of the bus that was traveling south on Westminster.

The driver of the Nissan was taken to a Columbia hospital with life-threatening injuries and the passenger in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both occupants of the Nissan are from Kansas City, Missouri.

Three passengers on the bus were treated for minor injuries.

The investigation into the accident continues.
