Cadets from Mexico’s Missouri Military Academy showed their support for non-profit organizations on Friday.
About 200 middle school and high school cadets and their advisors provided community service to support 14 different local organizations during their Annual Community Service Day.
Several of the cadet volunteers helped the Habitat for Humanity organization build a home in Columbia.
Cadets also volunteered their time for other Columbia organizations including True North, Meals on Wheels, Coyote Hill and the Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri.
In Mexico, cadets volunteered at the Williams Family Support Center.
