Mexico Man Arrested for Shooting a Handgun In Roadway
A Mexico man is facing charges after being arrested for unlawful use of a weapon last night (Thursday).
Mexico Public Safety says they responded to the 300 block of North Clark in reference to a report of gunshots just after 9:30 last night.
An investigation and information from alert citizens indicated that 38-year-old Tony R. Knapp Jr., who lives in that area, had been walking in the roadway and shooting a handgun.
Knapp was arrested and processed at Mexico Public Safety and taken to the Audrain County Jail.
There were no injuries from the incident.
