Man Killed in Pursuit by Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department Identified by Missouri Highway Patrol
The Missouri Highway Patrol is identifying a man who was killed yesterday (Thursday) during a pursuit by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department.
According to the crash report the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office was pursuing a motorcycle that was driven by 29-year-old Kyle Barnes of Truxton.
Deputies were chasing the motorcycle when a truck tried to make a left turn.
The motorcycle crashed into the side of the truck, which was being driven by a 16-year-old.
Barnes was ejected from his motorcycle and pronounced dead.
The crash happened just before 4pm on Highway 19 near Industrial Park Drive.
