Mexico Woman Injured in Callaway County Accident

A Mexico woman is recovering from minor injuries following a three car accident in Callaway County yesterday afternoon (Monday).

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol accident report it happened on US 54 south of Route TT just after 2pm.

A vehicle driven by 26-year-old Kassie N. Phelps of Holts Summit struck the median cables, causing the vehicle behind driven by 37-year-old Rachel D. Goldthrite of New Bloomfield to hit Phelp’s vehicle and a vehicle driven by 41-year-old Crystal L. Wood of Mexico to hit Goldthrite’s vehicle.

Wood was transported to Capital Region Medical Center by Callaway County EMS to be treated for her injuries.
