Missouri Highway Patrol Reports Ten Traffic Fatalities During 2023 Memorial Day Weekend
The Missouri Highway Patrol is reporting ten people died in traffic crashes and collisions over the 2023 Memorial Day weekend.
The preliminary numbers were released today (Tuesday) showing 314 traffic crashes as well as 102 injuries, and 130 driving while intoxicated arrests.
Boating statistics included six crashes, three injuries and seven boating while intoxicated arrests.
The counting period started at 6pm Friday, May 26, and ran through last night (Monday) at 11:59.
