Boone County Shooting Claims Lives of Two Teenagers and Several Other Teens Injured

Two teens are dead and four other people have injuries form an early morning shooting yesterday (Sunday) in Boone County.

Deputies from the Boone County Sheriff’s office were called to the 2600 block of Oakbrook Drive and found there was a party held at a vacant house that dozens of people attended.

According to the sheriff’s office a verbal dispute broke out between two opposing groups, which led to shots being fired.

A total of six teenagers were hit by gunfire.

The sheriff’s office said two juveniles age 16 and 17, were shot and killed.

Four teenagers between the ages of 16 and 19 were also shot, however their injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.

No arrests have been made, and anyone with information is asked to contact Crimestoppers.
