The St. Louis Cardinals lost 11-3 to the San Francisco Giants at Busch Stadium last night (Tuesday).

The Cardinals were out-hit 17 to 7.

Redbirds starting pitcher Jack Flaherty was tagged for six runs on a career-high 10 hits and three walks over just 4 and 1/3 innings as St. Louis lost for an 11th time in the past 14 games.

The Kansas City Royals were downed 5-4 by the Cincinnati Reds at the K.

The Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Florida Panthers 8-3 to clinch their first ever NHL championship.

With the victory, Vegas becomes the fastest NHL expansion team to raise the Stanley Cup.

It took the club six seasons to reach the top of the NHL mountain, beating the record of seven seasons previously held by Philadelphia.
