Off-Duty Lincoln County Deputy Dies After Being Hit by Suspected Drunk Driver
An off-duty Lincoln County deputy is dead after his motorcycle was hit by a man suspected of drunk-driving on Saturday night.
According to authorities 60-year-old Steven Tucker of Troy was off-duty riding his Harley Davidson on a two-lane when a car crossed the center line and struck the motorcycle head-on.
Tucker joined the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office earlier this year.
The 35-year-old driver of the car was taken to the hospital with serious injuries and an investigation is underway by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
