Audrain County Man Found Guilty of Child Sex Crimes in Federal Court Trial
An Audrain County man accused of child sex crimes since January 2021 was found guilty this week of federal child pornography crimes after a bench trial in May.
39-year-old William Dahl of Rush Hill was found guilty of one count of producing child pornography, and two counts of receiving child pornography.
Dahl will be sentenced on December 6th and is facing a minimum of 15 years.
Dahl’s victims were 14, 16, and 7 years old according to court records.
Dahl allegedly met the first victim when she was 13, and he was almost 23.
He reportedly took photos of the girl in a Moberly cemetery and sent them to others and images of himself to the victim.
A second girl was 16 when he was 36.
He allegedly bought her a cell phone, vapes and alcohol and they exchanged nude photos.
Dahl’s co-defendant, 35-year-old Jennifer Huddleston admitted to taking photos of herself abusing a 7-year-old victim while she was sleeping, and then sending the photos to Dahl.
Huddleston also admitted to possessing child sexual abuse material from the internet.
Huddleston pleaded guilty in federal court to one count of production of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography in May.
She will be sentenced on October 3.
In addition to his federal case, Dahl is charged with 24 felonies and two misdemeanors in six state cases.
A disposition hearing in those cases is set for November 8.
Huddleston is also facing four child sex crimes in Missouri.
