Fulton Man Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography

The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control is reporting the arrest of a Fulton man for possession of child pornography.

35-year-old Robert Wayne Stuart was arrested Tuesday, September 26, 2023, and charged today (Wednesday), September 27, 2023, for six counts of possession of child pornography following an investigation that was assisted by the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office.

On Tuesday, September 26, 2023, investigators contacted Stuart at a residence located in Callaway County, as part of an ongoing child pornography investigation.

According to a news release, during an interview with investigators, Stuart admitted to possessing digital files, containing child pornography, which were stored on his cell phone.

Stuart consented to a search of his cell phone and investigators say during the examination of the device they located several photographs and a video of child pornography.

Stuart was arrested and taken to the Callaway County Jail, where he is being held with a $50,000 bond.
