Thousands of Dollars of Damage Reported After House Fire in Fulton

About $65,000 in damage is estimated after a house fire in Fulton yesterday afternoon (Tuesday).

Fulton Fire Department responded to the single family dwelling just after 1pm at 400 South Ravine Street.

One dog was rescued from the structure.

The fire was brought under control within around 20 minutes and damages were contained to the carport and attic areas.

Fulton Fire Department Investigators completed an origin and cause investigation and the fire was determined to have originated on the carport.

The investigation said the only thing that could not be ruled out at the cause of the fire was discarded smoking materials.

The fire was determined to be unintentional.

No injuries were reported.
