Fulton Man Charged With Child Abuse

A Fulton man has been charged with two counts of child abuse.

Records from the Fulton Police Department show officers went to a house to help with an ambulance call on October 21st.

Officers said a 12-year-old girl told them 41-year-old Scott Raymond Hall hit her in the mouth and head and then put his arm around her throat and dragged her from the front yard into the house, choking her.

Officers said the girls lips were swollen and bleeding.

Hall was arrested and taken to the Callaway County Jail where he posted a $25,000 bond and was released yesterday (Monday) October 23, 2023.

An initial court appearance has been scheduled for December 8th.
