Centralia Teen Dies in Boone County Accident
A Centralia teen is dead and a Sturgeon teen has serious injuries following a two-car accident in Boone County during the afternoon hours of Thursday, November 16, 2023.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report it happened on MO 124 at Route CC.
A vehicle driven by 18-year-old Madison L. McArthur of Sturgeon failed to stop at a stop sign and traveled into the path of a vehicle driven by 34-year-old Daniel Brandt of Jefferson City.
McArthur’s vehicle struck Brandt’s vehicle on the right side.
A passenger in McArthur’s vehicle, 18-year-old Kara Teel of Centralia was pronounced deceased and taken to the Boone County Medical Examiner’s office.
McArthur was taken to the University Hospital with serious injuries.
