Thousands of Dollars in Damage Estimated After Fulton House Fire

About thirty-thousand dollars in damage is being reported following a house fire in Fulton during the afternoon hours of Tuesday, November 28, 2023.

The Fulton Fire Department was called to respond to a residential fire at 11 East Oliver Street.

Callaway Fire Protection District was also dispatched for auto-aid response.

Fire crews found a single-story, single family dwelling with heavy smoke and flames showing from the structure.

Occupants were able to evacuate from the home and fire crews were able to rescue multiple pets from the structure.

One pet was treated by Callaway County Ambulance personnel.

The fire was brought under control within about 15 minutes.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Fulton Fire Department says early indications show the fire may have originated on the outside of the house.
