Two Juveniles Found in Stolen Car From Mexico Taken Into Custody in Columbia

Two juveniles were taken into police custody after being accused of stealing a vehicle in Mexico during the early morning hours of Tuesday, January 30, 2024.

According to a press release from Mexico Public Safety they learned that several vehicles had been gone through in the east part of town during the overnight hours.

Additionally, one vehicle was stolen.

Columbia Police Department located the stolen vehicle on Tuesday morning with two juveniles inside.

After a pursuit, the juveniles were taken into custody. Mexico Public Safety says they are continuing to work with Columbia Police on appropriate charges in both jurisdictions.
