Two Vandalia Men Injured in Jefferson City Crash
Two people are recovering from injuries following a crash on westbound Highway 50/63 at Clark Avenue in Jefferson City on Friday, April 19, 2024.
According to the accident report from the Jefferson City Police Department it happened when 18-year-old Jacob Holtkamp of Vandalia lost control of his vehicle while he was in the driving lane.
The vehicle swerved across the left lane and hit a concrete median.
Holtkamp had moderate injuries and his passenger 40-year-old Anthony Holtkamp of Vandalia had minor injuries.
Both men were brought to an area hospital by ambulance for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and the Highway was restricted to one lane for about 30 minutes.
