One Suspect Released and One Suspect Arrested in Fatal Shooting in Fulton
A fifth suspect has been arrested in connection to last week’s deadly shooting in Fulton. 44-year-old Mitchell Eugene Henderson was booked into the Callaway County Jail for first-degree murder on Monday, July 22, 2024.
19-year-old Jakiem Braggs was shot and killed in the 1200 block of Kathy Street on July 16th.
Four other suspects have been arrested in connection to the homicide investigation and law enforcement is still looking for at least one other suspect, who has not been named.
Fulton Police announced that one of the suspects in custody for the murder of Braggs has been released.
Investigators said Taeon Logan was initially placed at the scene of the crime by a concerned citizen, who was not present at the scene of the crime, but gave investigators credible information implicating Logan in the shooting.
As the investigation continued, police determined that Logan had been present at the scene of the crime, but was not involved in the shooting.
