Moberly Police Department News Release
The following incidents/arrests were investigated by the Moberly Police Department between the hours of 7am on 7/31/24 and 7am 8/02/24.
On August 1, 2024, an officer observed 45-year-old Walter Gollaher in a vehicle and had prior knowledge that he had an active warrant for his arrest.
The officer initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and placed Gollaher under arrest for felony possession of a controlled substance warrant.
Gollaher was transported to the Randolph County Jail.
On August 2, 2024, an officer observed a vehicle speeding on N. Morley St.
The officer initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and contacted the 35-year-old female operator and later placed her under arrest for driving while intoxicated.
While inventorying the vehicle, a suspected schedule 4 controlled substance was located.
The woman was later transported to the Randolph County Jail.
