Hallsville Teen Dies in Vehicle Accident, Two Other Teens Injured
A seventeen-year-old boy is dead and two other teens were hurt after a one-car accident in Hallsville during the evening hours of Sunday, September 22, 2024.
Boone County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 11400 block of North Hecht Road around 5pm on Sunday night for a reported car accident.
Responding personnel found that a vehicle was traveling southbound on North Hecht Road, when it went off the road, overturned and collided with a tree.
The 17-year-old driver from Hallsville was killed and a 15-year-old girl from Boonville who was a passenger suffered serious injures and was taken to a local hospital.
A 13-year-old girl from Hallsville who was also a passenger in the car sustained minor injuries.
No names will be released due to all occupants involved being minors according to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.
