The Kansas City Chiefs are now the only AFC team with an undefeated record after dispatching of the New Orleans Saints 26 – 13 at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday Night Football.
Patrick Mahomes threw for 331 yards.
Travis Kelce caught nine passes for 70 yards.
The Chiefs are now 5 – 0, and have a bye week next week before a Super Bowl rematch with the San Francisco 49ers on October 20th.
The Kansas City Royals evened their American League Divisional Series at one game apiece after beating the New York Yankees 4 – 2 last night (Monday) at Yankee Stadium.
The series shifts to Kauffman Stadium tomorrow (Wednesday), and Thursday.
If a game 5 is necessary, it will be back to New York on Saturday.
The St. Louis Blues open up the regular season this afternoon (Tuesday) on the road against the Seattle Kraken.
