Macon Vehicle Accident Fatality
A Macon woman has died after a two-car accident in Macon County during the evening hours of Tuesday, October 29, 2024.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol it happened on US 63, four miles south of Macon, when a vehicle driven by 55-year-old Sandra D. Williams of Macon backed out of a private driveway and into the path of a vehicle driven by 53-year-old Dewayne N. Fraley of Macon.
70-year-old Shirley L. Fraley was a passenger in Dewayne Fraley’s vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the Samaritan Hospital.
Dewayne Fraley suffered serious injuries and was transported by air evacuation to University Hospital in Columbia.
Williams was taken by private auto to Moberly Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.
