The Centralia Lady Panthers claimed 2nd place in the Class 3 State Championship Tournament on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
The Lady Panthers lost 8 – 3 to Oak Grove in the championship game.
Centralia’s starting pitcher Jaylynn Brown struck out 11 batters. Brown also hit an inside-the park home run.
Centralia finishes with season with a 29 – 4 record.
The University of Missouri men’s basketball team opens its 119th season of play tonight (Monday), on the road playing Memphis.
Tip-off at the FedExForum is set for 7pm.
University of Missouri women’s basketball kicks off their season at 5 tonight (Monday) against Vermont.
Mizzou returns nine players from last year’s squad headlined by sophomore guard Grace Slaughter.
The new year marks season number 51 for Mizzou women’s basketball.
The 7-0 Kansas City Chiefs will host the 4 – 4 Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday Night Football.
