Young Hunters Harvest Over Thirteen Thousand Deer During Early Portion of Firearms Deer Season
13,293 deer were harvested by young hunters ages 6 through 15 during Missouri’s early youth portion of the 2024 deer hunting season on November 2nd and 3rd.
According to preliminary data from the Missouri Department of Conservation, the top county was Franklin with 285 deer harvested.
