Karhoff Sentenced to Multiple Years in Prison in Drug Trafficking Case
An Audrain County judge has sentenced a Mexico man to 30 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for Drug Trafficking and firearm charges.
A jury of eleven women and one man found 53-year-old Larry Dale Karhoff guilty after about two hours of deliberations at the Audrain County Courthouse in Mexico on August 26, 2024.
Audrain County Prosecuting Attorney Shellabarger and Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Jordan Duenckel tried the case to an Audrain County jury.
Circuit Judge Jason Lamb presided over the single day trial and sentenced Karhoff on Monday, November 4, 2024.
The charges stem from a traffic stop on February 5, 2022, where a Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper found methamphetamine, fentanyl and other drugs, as well as a Ruger handgun in Karhoff’s pants.
Karhoff has two other open cases in Audrain County.
