Kaden Benne Notches Career High in Points and Claire Hudson Rains Threes as Mexico Boys and Girls Basketball Teams Pick Up Road Wins Over Hannibal
The Mexico High School boys and girls varsity teams each picked up wins against the Hannibal Pirates at the Hannibal High School on Thursday, December 19, 2024.
The Mexico Lady Bulldogs defeated the Hannibal Lady Pirates 66-57.
Claire Hudson led the way with five-three’s and a game high 21 points.
Grace Hudson put up 18 points.
The scoring book was rounded out with 8 points from Scottie Smith, 7 points from Payton Shaw, 6 points from Alyssa Miller, 4 points from Hannah Loyd and two points from Haley Perkins.
The Mexico girls improved to 5-4 overall and 2-1 in the North Central Missouri Conference.
The Hannibal girls fell to 6-2 overall and 2-1 in the NCMC.
Junior Kaden Benne had a career high 25 points and led the Mexico Bulldogs boys to a 74-40 win over Hannibal.
Sam Ryan contributed 13 points.
PJ Perkins finished the game with 11 points.
The Mexico boys improved to 5-3 overall and remained undefeated in the North Central Missouri Conference at 3-0.
