Fatality Vehicle Accident in Pike County
A Curryville man has died and two Jefferson City men have serious injuries following a two-car accident in Pike County during the afternoon hours of Thursday, December 26, 2024.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol it happened on US 54 West of Pike 292.
A vehicle driven by a 32-year-old Jefferson City man failed to maintain the right half of the roadway and crossed the center of the roadway into the westbound lane, into the path of a vehicle driven by a 32-year-old man from Curryville and a collision happened.
The Curryville man was pronounced dead on scene by the Pike County Coroner.
The 32-year-old Jefferson City man and his passenger a 38-year-old Jefferson City man were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
