KWWR Sports Report 12/27/2024
The Mexico High School boys basketball team picked up a 55-37 win over Waynesville in the opening round of the Rolla Holiday Tournament at the Rolla High School on Thursday, December 26, 2024.
Mexico head coach Darren Pappas says “We started slow in the first half, but made some adjustments and picked it up in the second half. Still room to improve, but we are playing unselfish team basketball.”
Kaden Benne put up 18 points on 4 made three-pointers.
Jaydon Eldridge finished the game with 14 points and 4 rebounds.
PJ Perkins had 11 points and 5 rebounds.
Holden Aulbur put up 7 points and 7 rebounds.
Charlie Fisher had 4 points and 9 assists.
Mexico will be in action at the tournament against Principia at the Rolla High School at 4pm on Friday, December 27, 2024.
The St. Louis Blues host the Nashville Predators at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis on Friday, December 27, 2024.
Puck drops at 7.
