Madison Woman Suffers Serious Injuries in Monroe County Vehicle Accident

A Madison woman is recovering from serious injuries following a two-car accident in Monroe County during the evening hours of Saturday, January 11, 2025.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report it happened on US 24 at Missouri 15 when a vehicle driven by a 16-year-old Paris girl pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by a 62-year-old woman from Madison and a collision occurred.

The Madison woman was taken by Monroe County Ambulance to University Hospital for treatment.

The 16-year-old Paris girls and her passenger a 15-year-old boy from Paris were taken by private conveyance to Moberly Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.

The Highway Patrol was assisted by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department, Monroe County Ambulance and Paris Rural Fire Department.
