Laddonia Man Facing Assault and Kidnapping Charges After an Arrest by the Audrain County Sheriff’s Department
A Laddonia man is facing multiple felony charges out of Audrain County following an arrest on Sunday, January 12, 2025.
The Audrain County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported assault that happened on Friday, January 10 and Saturday, January 11th in a rural area.
The victim claimed that they had been assaulted by 24-year-old Gerald Wayne Walker Jr. of Laddonia.
According to the probable cause statement, the victim stated that they had been hit multiple times while in the passenger seat of the man’s pickup truck.
Deputies say that he was holding a phone in his hand while allegedly hitting the victim, which reportedly left lacerations on their face.
Walker is facing charges of First-Degree Kidnapping, Two counts of Second-Degree Domestic Assault, and Armed Criminal Action.
The probable cause statement also reads the victim appeared to have multiple older human bite marks and bruises.
Walker was booked into the Audrain County Jail without bond.
