Vandalia Pedestrian Suffers Injuries After Being Struck by a Vehicle
The Missouri Highway Patrol is investigating after a Vandalia woman was hit by a vehicle in Vandalia.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol the crash happened during the evening hours of Monday, January 27, 2025, at the intersection of West Street and South Walnut Street when a 1999 Lincoln Town Car, driven by an 89-year-old woman struck a 60-year-old pedestrian.
The pedestrian was taken by ambulance to University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The driver of the Town Car was not injured.
