Eugene boys basketball punched their ticket to the Class 2 Show-Me Showdown Championship with a 67-53 win over Lincoln in the state semifinals.
Last night’s (Wednesday) win cements Eugene’s spot in its first state title game since 1992.
Up next Eugene will face Canton for its first title in program history tonight (Thursday), at 8pm inside Mizzou Arena.
21st ranked University of Missouri men’s basketball opens the SEC Tournament tonight (Thursday).
Mizzou will play Mississippi State in the second round. Tipoff in Nashville is set for 6pm.
In Spring Training baseball yesterday (Wednesday) the St. Louis Cardinals were shut out 2-0 by the New York Mets.
The Kansas City Royals beat the Seattle Mariners 7-6.
In hockey tonight (Thursday), the St. Louis Blues will be on the road skating against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Puck drops at 6pm.
