Missouri Highway Patrol Investigating Human Remains Found in Pike County
The Missouri State Highway Patrol has taken over a death investigation from Pike County.
According to a press release sent on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, the Patrol wrote that the Pike County Sheriff’s Office received a missing person’s report for 23-year-old Nathaniel Mueller, of Hannibal on December 21, 2024.
Mueller’s remains were found on February 28, 2025, in rural Pike County.
On March 3, the Pike County Sheriff’s Office requested that the Missouri State Highway Patrol Division of Drug and Crime Control to take over the investigation.
The Patrol asks that anyone with information related to the case to call Troop C headquarters at 636-300-2800.
