KWWR Sports Report 3/31/2025
The St. Louis Cardinals completed a three-game sweep over the Minnesota Twins with a 9-2 victory at Busch Stadium on Sunday, March 30, 2025.
The Redbirds offense was fueled with home runs from Victor Scott, Pedro Pages, and Nolan Gorman.
The Cardinals have started off the season with a perfect 3-0 record.
The Kansas City Royals lost 6-2 to the Cleveland Guardians at the K.
Royals leadoff hitter Jonathan India is being evaluated after being on his on the left side of his face by a 98 mile per hour pitch in the ninth inning.
The Royals believe it is non-concussive, however are waiting on some more imaging.
Kansas City lost two out of three games to the Guardians in the season opening series.
Fans are invited to attend a press conference this morning (Monday) in Columbia where new Tiger women’s basketball coach Kellie Harper will officially be introduced.
Several Mizzou officials and others will speak at the 11am press conference in Mizzou Arena’s practice gym.
The event is free and open to the public, with doors opening at 10:30am.
The NCAA Final Four is set and every No. 1 seed has reached the Final Four for the first time since 2008.
The Final Four games this Saturday will feature Florida against Auburn and Duke plays Houston.
The National Championship game will be played on Monday, April 7th in San Antonio.
