Heitmeyer Indicted by Boone County Jury
A Hallsville businessman has been indicted by a Boone County grand jury for deceptive business practices.
According to court documents Ches A. Heitmeyer, the founder of Solar Sam, has been accused of defrauding five people in the year 2023. Heitmeyer allegedly promised to install and activate a rooftop solar system, and despite taking the money for the systems, he did not follow through.
The documents stated that one of the victims paid Heitmeyer $47,465.
Heitmeyer bonded out of the Boone County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
