Moberly Woman Arrested on Assault
55-year-old Shannon E. Hackett, of Moberly, was arrested Sunday night after a domestic dispute. The victim claimed she stabbed him after an argument. Hackett claimed she acted in self-defense.
Police found no injuries on her neck but noted bruising on her wrist. A blood-stained knife was discovered near trash cans. No word on the victims injuries.
Hackett was charged with First-Degree Domestic Assault and Armed Criminal Action.
Her bond was set at $100,000.
