Summer School Back in Columbia and Mexico
Summer may be here but for many kids, that means Summer School. Columbia Public Schools welcomed more than 9,800 students back yesterday for summer school. That number represents a little more than half of the district’s regular school year enrollment that is back for summer programming and courses.
Mexico was expecting nearly 1,000 students for summer school and Mexico Superintendent Dr. Troy Lentz says there is a slight chance this summer.
That change brought about by construction going on at the Mexico Middle School.
