City of Fulton Approves Chickens
Let the Rhode Island Reds in. The Fulton City Council last week approved an Ordinance that allows residents to keep chickens for their personal use. Properties inside the city limits can have up to 6 hens, with a maximum of 10 hens per acre. Roosters are not allowed with the new bill.
According to a Facebook post from the city of Fulton, the ordinance allows for sustainable living while maintaining neighborhood standards.
There will not be any limitation as to chicken species.
