Boonville Woman Found Dead in Missouri River
The body of a Boonville woman was found deceased in the Missouri River Wednesday.
According to the Boonville Police Department, 33-year-old Katelynn Nelson had been reported missing since Monday.
Her body was found Wednesday morning in the river near Jefferson City, about 55 miles away from where she reportedly entered the water.
Police say Nelson was reported as suicidal before she went missing and her vehicle was found at Harley Park in Boonville.
She was pronounced dead on Wednesday morning at 8:30am by the Callaway County Coroner.
