Columbia Closes Capen Park Yard Waste Drop-Off
The City of Columbia announced that the yard waste drop-off site at Capen Park would be temporarily closed due to capacity.
The city’s Solid Waste Utility will start to turn the yard into mulch starting July 2.
The site will be closed until the work is done, which is expected to July 5.
Columbia residents can still use the Parkside location and the landfill composting facility.
There is no cost for people to leave tree limbs under eight feet, pallets, leaves, and grass clippings.
