Sunday I-70 Accident
As work continues to expand on the Interstate-70 road project, so too, it seems, do the list of long road closures due to accidents in mid-Missouri.
Yesterday, a car hauler jack-knifed on I-70 neat the Boone-Callaway County line, blocking traffic in both directions as crews worked to clear the area. The trucker had been traveling eastbound near mile-marker 136, just before noon.
Traffic was backed up half way between the Centralia and Lake of the Woods exits, with many people stuck in traffic for hours.
Injuries are unknown at the time.
