Morning Sports 7/17/25
Hayden Ekern and AJ Logan hosted their first-ever Mexico Football Camp yesterday at Mexico High School.
The final day of SEC Media Days in Hoover, Alabama kicks off with Mizzou Coach Eli Drinkwitz speaking at 8am this morning. He’ll be joined on the podium by DE Zion Young, safety Daylan Carnell, and center Connor Tollison.
The St. Louis Blues have released their 2025-26 schedule. The season begins Octover 9th vs Minnesota, with the 2026 Winter Olympics break from February 5-25th, and the final regular season game on April 14th vs Pittsburgh.
In NBA the Phoenix Suns have bought our former all-star Bradley Beal’s contract. The former St. Louisan is set to sign with the Los Angeles Clippers on a two-year deal.
MLB finishing up their summer break today following the National League’s victory in the All Star Game.
Kansas City traded minor leaguer Cam Devaney to Pittsburgh for utility man Adam Frazier. The Royals are 4.5 games back of the final wild card spot.
The Cardinals stand 1.5 games back of the final NL wild card spot.
Both teams resume action tomorrow.
