I-70 Accident Stalls Traffic
A collision between two semi trucks blocked Westbound Interstate 70 in Montgomery County for several hours yesterday.
The accident left one of the semi drivers, a 72-year-old West Virginia man, with serious injuries, while the other driver, a 48-year-old Georgia man suffered minor injuries. Both were taken to University Hospital by ambulance.
The accident occurred around 10:19am near mile marker 166, in which one semi was overtaking another and clipped the front of the trailing truck, causing a crash which blocked both westbound lanes.
