Moore Appointed Cole County Auditor
Friday, Governor Mike Kehoe announced ten appointments to various boards and commissions and filled two county vacancies. Among those was the appointment of Jay Moore, of Jefferson City, as the Cole County Auditor.
Moore is the director of finance for the Jefferson City Chamber of Commerce, with over 30 years of public service experience in state government. He most recently served as the budget manager for the Missouri Department of Health. In addition to his professional role, he is also an active member of the United Way Fund Allocation.
Moore has a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Ball State University.
